Time flies!

Okay, A LOT has happened since my last post. Sorry for the delay - summer flew! Here are a few pictures to get you up to speed with us.

Jorja has turned 2!

Ren is now 8 months old. Look at that angelic face!

Jorja is getting sillier every day.

She gets it from her father!

What a pair!

The pair will soon be a trio!

Yes, we are expecting our third child. Woo-hoo! Because my husband can be very thoughtful at times, he brought home three roses. These represent our three children. What a guy...ah!

Times flies...between nausea and just daily activities with two kids has slowed the blogging project. I apologize to all that actually do check this. Until next time...

Have you been to the zoo lately?

We have! Friday I pulled Seth away from the store (actually I need to thank Anthony for working) and the fam headed to the Henry Doorly Zoo. Amazing! They do a great job of updating things and I am going to try to make the zoo a yearly adventure for us. Enjoy a few of our pics.

I thought the new butterfly exhibit was pretty - Daddy didn't quite agree.

The penguins. Of course my child had to run the whole length of the exhibit chasing after the swimming penguin!

Just hanging with Daddy in the Jungle.
"Biiiig monkey"

This little trooper walked most of the day. She had so much fun!

My precious little one was a trooper also. As long as she has her 1/4 inch thumb, she's good to go.

What a great day we had at the zoo! As we looked back on the day, I would have to say that my favorite exhibits were the ones that made Jorja's eyes light up. Monkeys, giraffes, elephants, tigers, and the fish swimming over her head were the highlights. What precious gems God has allowed us to raise. Praise Him!

We took Tristan and his mommy to the Lincoln Children's Museum last week. The kids had a blast, but I almost wonder if maybe the mom's didn't enjoy it just as much. How cool! I know many of you have probably enjoyed this museum before, but we're slowly catching up to the times. Hope you enjoy the pictures of our very exhausting, very stimulating day.

I'm sure they're good - Buck eats them!

Motorcycle Mama

C'mon Tristan, let's ride off into the sunset.

I think this is more my style.

If it has wheels, I'm there.

"Water...Jorja touch!"

Can you come home from Husker country without a picture of good ole Herbie?

Don't worry, next time we'll take the dads.

What a great day! Thanks for the fun, Tristan & his mommy.

Fountain Fun

Ren knows what her sister is thinking!

Come on in Grandma - the water's great.

Who doesn't love parks?

Fountain Fun

Jorja loves Grandma's water fountain. It makes a nice wading pool for her!

Ren knows what is on her sister's mind!

Fun in the sun!

They grow up so fast...

I never really believed people when they said, "Cherish these times because they grow up fast." Now I know exactly what they meant. With Jorja, I couldn't wait for her to talk and walk so we could communicate. With Ren, I want her to stay this young and innocent forever.

My sweethearts

Such precious gifts from above.

"Jorja, I have something to say please be quiet."

Saturday night bath!

I'm sure you're all wondering where the pictures are from the wedding last weekend. Well, I didn't have a chance to take any of my own. I'm still kicking myself because we all were dressed up and I never got a family picture! Yes, daddy cleans up pretty well!

Jorja performed her flower girl duties without a hitch. I was surprised because naptime had long since passed. Needless to say, I had tears in my eyes and a sob in my throat watching my oldest and encouraging her to take another step toward the alter. They do grow up fast. And before I know it, her daddy and her will be taking that journey together too soon. God is so good! He has it all planned, everything. That's such an encouragement to me while we raise our children and run our business. God knows what tomorrow and the next day will bring.

We just need to trust Him.

Yes, I know I will inevitably bawl at my girls' weddings remembering the day my oldest walked down the aisle as flower girl at Uncle Caleb & Aunt Holly's wedding...it will just seem like yesterday.

Don't worry you'll see wedding pictures, you'll just have a wait a while. Thanks for being patient!

Dear God... Thank you for my two healthy beautiful girls. They bring so much happiness to so many people. Kids remind us what exactly is important in life.
Mommy & Daddy's sweethearts!

The Contented One

Lick, Please!

Watch out Daddy, you may get wet!

I'll stop long enough for one picture.

I live life to its fullest.

What comes up must go down!

Naps can be taken anywhere!
